Faith Welcomes Pastor Tom
Pastor Tom relocated from Nevada and has settled into his new address in Sonoma. The installation ceremony for Pastor Tom was held on January 27th, 2008.
Highlights of his varied career in ministry have included serving Synod's Commission on worship in St.Louis, introducing new worship materials throughout the country, serving as part-time faculty member of Concordia University in Irvine, California. He has been active in Stephen Ministries Christcare small group ministry and has actively promoted a strong program of Christian education in the congregations he has served.
His hobbies include art, singing and international travel. Over the past few years he and his travelling companion, Arlene Lombardo, have been to China, Australia, the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhuthan, India, the South American Amazon, and Peru.
His pastoral priorities for Faith Lutheran Church include developing loving relationships with the members of the congregation and celebrating the Love of Christ which appears to be one of the strengths of FLC. He is eager to develop a long range strategy to reach out to the significant senior unchurched population of the Sonoma valley.
Pastor Tom has three grown children with families in the southwest and west coast.
